Hello and welcome
My name is Kim Jenkins (Health and wellbeing Specialist)
So, here’s a little bit about me and what I do…
After working in a stressful environment for 5 years as an area cleaning manager I decided I wanted a career change. I enjoyed attending fitness classes at my local gym and thoroughly enjoyed the Salsa classes. This inspired me to become a fitness instructor.
Back in 2008 I started teaching Zumba fitness classes in gyms. I also set up various community classes and this is where I found my passion. I saw how this made a difference to peoples lives so decided to dedicate my services to my local community. I wanted to focus more on not just helping people lose weight but more on their overall health and wellbeing too.
This inspired me to study more about the effects on exercise and nutrition especially with women which I now specialize in.
July 2016 I decided to become a KSFL franchise for International fitness presenter Rachel Holmes who is the creator of Kick Start Fat Loss. This has enabled me to bring even more value to my members, giving them up-to-date information about diet and exercise.
I teach a variety of ladies only fitness classes within the Coleshill area and surround. I’m currently teaching Clubbercise dance fitness, BoxCamp HIIT (boxing circuits), Fitness Pilates, HIIT workouts, outdoor bootcamps and much more.
My mission is to help women start living the life they truly deserve. By motivating them to become fitter, stronger in mind and body, get them feeling more confident in themselves and looking fantastic too, all in a fun unique way.
"I've had no chocolate for two weeks"
"I had a back injury few months back so I hadn't exercised in a couple of months. I'm also a BIG chocoholic too.
My fear of starting the detox was not being able to do the workouts as I was worried about restarting exercise in case of re-injury. Plus I've tried other diets in past but can never stick to them.
Since starting the detox programme I've now be able to slowly build up my fitness and I've had no chocolate for two weeks. My goal is to lose a dress size and I am 7in less on the way to it.
Im now into my 3rd week and Im feeling fab when I get up every morning. I've a lot more energy.
Hubby and my girls all enjoying the meals so happy meal times too and inches and pounds are being lost. WIN WIN WIN!! XX"
